Customs processes in the UK, EU and globally are undergoing an ongoing period of transformation and modernisation, as governments look to better facilitate and streamline cross-border trade processes and regulation.
This new series of webinars with Anna Doherty, the lead of the Chartered Institute of Export & International Trade’s Customs Practice, will give traders the opportunity to ask one of the industry’s leading experts questions about upcoming new customs rules and processes.
The first of these quarterly sessions will be free, with future editions then free for members of the Chartered Institute as part of its exclusive Lunchtime Learning programme.
This free webinar will give an overview of key changes taking place over the coming months, including:
- Recent changes around safety and security declarations in the UK
- Upcoming changes for GB to NI movements under Windsor Framework
- The implementation of the EU’s Import Control System (ICS) 2 – launching for road and rail freight on 1 April
- Recap on Final State Rules for NCTS5 and the introduction of NCTS 6 (the New Computerised Transit System) – due 1 July
