In December 2024, the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) will come into force between the UK and the CPTPP members which have ratified the UK's accession (Japan, Singapore, Chile, Peru, New Zealand, Vietnam and Malaysia).

As part of the Department for Business and Trade’s (DBT) International Trade Week, the Chartered Institute of Export & International Trade is hosting a webinar on how UK exporters can benefit from CPTPP.

CPTPP is a modern and ambitious trade group which includes some of the world’s fastest-growing economies. UK membership will open new markets and provide commercial opportunities for British businesses. Once the UK joins, CPTPP will include 12 countries, spanning five continents and almost 600 million people. Some of the UK’s largest trading partners – including Australia, Canada, Mexico and Japan – are members.

The free webinar aims to provide a practical outlook on how UK businesses can navigate, benefit from and overcome the challenges presented by trading with CPTPP countries, followed by a Q&A session.
