This session will focus on the importance of ensuring and maintaining sustainable supply chains, particularly given the rising importance of environmental regulations and policy.
It will cover various supply chain issues, including labour standards, the introduction of Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanisms (CBAMs) in both the UK and EU, the EU’s ‘Green Deal’ more generally, including its deforestation regulation, and the rising role of the US Carbon and Border Protection agency. Delegates will leave with actionable strategies for maintaining fair and sustainable trade practices, including strategies for mitigating the impact of carbon taxes and other sustainability-related levies.
