This article was published before we became the Chartered Institute of Export & International Trade on 10 July 2024, and this is reflected in references to our old brand and name. For more information about us becoming Chartered, visit our dedicated webpage on the change here.

The Institute of Export and International Trade has been asked by HMRC to seek the views of trading businesses on how it positions its services around exporting, importing and customs.

As the key organisation supporting the entire trade ecosystem, we are keen that our members and the trade community have the opportunity to respond.

The survey is split into three sections.

  • A multiple-choice section on their business’ involvement in importing and exporting
  • A three-question poll about HMRC’s approach to understanding what it does
  • Three open-response questions, asking respondents to describe their ideal trade and customs service

To complete the survey, click here. It should only take five minutes.
