The Institute was delighted to welcome students and guests to its 2017 Graduation & Prize Giving Ceremony on Wed 24th May. The glittering ceremony at Mansion House celebrated our students' hard work and academic achievements.
This year the Rt. Hon. The Lord Mayor of London, Dr Andrew Parmley, not only opening his official residence for us to use but honoured us with his attendance alongside Lord Green of Hustpierpoint, former Trade Minister and Chairman of HSBC, our President as keynote speakers.
Professor Sujit Banerji - executive director, Post Graduate Programs, WMG at Warwick University - also shared his insights into the changes in industry needs in international trade, along with Arne Mielken, the Institute's Young President, who himself graduated with a Diploma in World Customs Compliance & Regulations two years ago.
Following the ceremony, the drinks reception - kindly sponsored by our event partner ICC Solutions - offered the opportunity for students to network with major stakeholders from the world of international trade.
