The Institute of Export & International Trade (IOE&IT) has announced the details of its next Annual General Meeting (AGM) – the 87th in its history.

The IOE&IT hosts an AGM to provide our members with the opportunity to hear from the Institute’s trustee directors and its executive on how the organisation has performed in the previous 12 months.

The meeting is also a chance for IOE&IT members to have a say on the Institute’s future direction as we directors outline the organisation’s goals for the year ahead.

Full and Fellow Members of the IOE&IT are eligible to vote at the AGM.

All members of the IOE&IT are eligible to attend the AGM, with invitations already having been sent via email.

Lowry Theatre

This year, the AGM will be hosted at the Lowry Theatre in Manchester, on Thursday 8 September, and will also be live-streamed for those who cannot attend in person.

The event will start at 11.30 am.

‘Tremendous opportunity’

“It’s a tremendous opportunity for members to come together, to connect and meet with friends and make new ones,” said Marco Forgione, director general of the IOE&IT.

“Members will hear from myself and the IOE&IT team about all the progress that’s been made in the past twelve months – and hear from the Board about our strategic objectives for what will be a transformational year ahead.”

The event is chaired by Honorary President Lord Stephen Green and Chairman Terry Scuoler CBE MIEx.

After the formal business of the AGM is conducted, are offered a buffet lunch and networking.
