The Institute of Export & International Trade (IOE&IT) is gearing up to host a series of expert content sessions at Multimodal 2022 – the UK’s leading supply chain exhibition taking place at Birmingham’s NEC from 14-16 June.
Trade consultants from the IOE&IT will lead sessions on Tuesday 14 June and Wednesday 15 June at the free-to-attend exhibition and show in a bespoke pavilion.
They will give advice and guidance on best practice for international trade to and from the UK – with a focus on new procedures introduced since Great Britain left the EU’s customs union at the end of 2020.
Professional development
Delegates attending the IOE&IT sessions will qualify for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points.
With an emphasis on the up-to-date, practical application of trade and logistics principles for GB-EU trade, topics covered include the Goods Vehicle Movement Service (GVMS), the government’s new approach to EU-to-GB imports, as well as rules of origin in the EU-UK Trade and Cooperation Agreement.
