Tristel Solutions
An infection prevention company, the entire purpose of Tristel Solutions is to prevent the transmission of microbes from one object or person to another. It achieves this by applying a very powerful biocidal chemistry – chlorine dioxide – to the target environmental surface or medical device.
It operates in 14 countries around the globe with around 200 employees and claims to be one of a few companies worldwide that can be regarded as an exclusively infection-prevention business.
Its mission is most relevant to hospitals, where the risk of infection to individuals is highest. Its two key areas of focus in the hospital are the high-level disinfection of medical devices, where the medical device disinfectants product range is branded Tristel; and the sporicidal disinfection of environmental surfaces, with the surface disinfectants product range branded Cache.
