Working with Trade and Export Finance Limited, the IOE is proud to say that the survey remains robust and relevant by taking into account the changes affecting world trade and the underlying trends for businesses that trade internationally.
When this year’s survey, sponsored by American International Group (AIG) is released on Tuesday 3 June 2013, it will be the most credible to date. More than 1,600 respondents took part, a 15% increase on 2012.
The past five years have seen some challenging conditions for international trade and the introduction of the AIG Export Confidence Index in this year’s survey is based on respondents’ business confidence over the next five years which should make interesting reading.
The International Trade Survey is built on a 17-year heritage of research into exporters’ trading needs. It analyses the support provided by financial institutions and government departments to companies entering overseas markets.
The survey offers recommendations on solving problems and addresses issues relating to international trade that government, banks, credit insurers and other service providers can take forward.
