Exporters, importers and supply chain professionals are being urged to “save the date” for one of the UK’s most exciting and informative annual trade events.
The Institute of Export & International Trade’s (IOE&IT) member conference – MemberCon24 – will this year be taking place in Leeds on 4 July.
‘Practical solutions’
IOE&IT executive editor, Will Barns-Graham, who will be hosting the event this year, said MemberCon is a great opportunity for traders to get practical advice from the IOE&IT and a range of leading industry experts.

Protect and grow
The event will be taking place at Aspire Building at the heart of Leeds city centre and the theme for the agenda will be ‘Strengthen and grow in a new era for trade’.
IOE&IT’s director general, Marco Forgione, and its director of strategic projects and international development, Kevin Shakespeare, have already been confirmed as speakers, with more to be announced in the coming weeks.
IOE&IT members can purchase tickets at a discounted price of £75+VAT, while non-members are being charged £175+VAT.

Last year’s event
MemberCon23 took place in Liverpool and featured several thought provoking sessions on various practical aspects of trade, including the utilisation of free trade agreements, the migration from CHIEF to CDS and managing rising supply chain costs.
