The Chartered Institute of Export & International Trade will be running a free ‘taster’ session to give export managers a glimpse of how a new Master’s Degree could advance their careers and empower their businesses.
The Master’s Degree in Export Management and International Trade has been designed by the Chartered Institute and the Università degli Studi Guglielmo Marconi, and will be delivered for the first time on 13 January 2025.
The taster event is taking place at 2pm on Wednesday 20 November and will feature tutors from both the Chartered Institute and the Italian university.

Empowering export managers
Daniela Turiccki, interim academy director at the Chartered Institute, has said that trade professionals looking to advance into senior export roles should attend the digital event to discover an “exciting opportunity”.
“The qualification is an exciting opportunity for anyone involved in exporting that wants to take on more of a leadership role within a business.
“It equips would-be or current export managers with practical skills and knowledge, internationally recognised accreditation and ongoing professional development opportunities.
“If you’re interested or even just curious, I’d definitely recommend tuning into the taster to find out how this new Master’s programme could empower your career and business.”
Early bird discount
The taster session comes just under three weeks before an early bird discount on the course is due to expire on 11 December.
The first enrolled cohort will begin studying on 13 January 2025.
The taster session on 20 November will feature a run-through of the structure and key modules in the qualification, an overview of how the course will be delivered, and a Q&A session with tutors from both the Chartered Institute and the university.
