Due to the announcement of the United Kingdom general election, taking place on Thursday 4 July 2024, we have taken the difficult decision to postpone MemberCon until the first quarter of 2025.
Marco Forgione, director general of the Chartered Institute of Export and International Trade said: “As MemberCon 2024 now coincides with polling day, we have decided to postpone the event to ensure everyone who planned to attend will be able to exercise their democratic right and vote in person. Over the past few years MemberCon has gained a reputation not only for its excellent content and learning opportunities, but as a place to meet peers and make valuable connections in-person.”
“We feel it is only right that both of these elements remain at the forefront of MemberCon and the networking and learning opportunities are not diminished, so we are moving the date to ensure that can happen.”
Our membership is at the heart of everything we do and to support this outreach the Chartered Institute has a packed series of regional events taking place this autumn. They include Manchester in September, Bristol in October, Cambridge in November, and our annual conference the Import Export Show returning to London this December. You can find out more about our regional events programme and register to attend here.
Further details of the rearranged date for MemberCon will be announced soon. However, if you have any questions, please do contact us at events@export.org.uk.
